TERMS & CONDITIONS


Deposit 

A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required to secure the booking.  A booking is not secure until the booking fee has been received and may result in the date becoming unavailable.  Payment details will be provided on request.

 

Payments

A detailed order confirmation/final invoice will be sent out 5 weeks prior to the wedding/event, detailing the final balance and payment details.  No further payment reminders will be sent and it is the responsibility of the client to ensure payment is on time.  The balance must be paid by the client in cleared monies no later than the date set out in the final invoice/order confirmation by bank transfer to the account specified, cash or via PayPal invoice.  Late payments will incur a £25 charge.

 If payment is not received by the date specified this shall be constituted as breach of contract by the client.  We reserve the right to hold the order until payment is made in full.  When payment is late, we accept no responsibility should we be unable to purchase the required stock or equipment to create the flower designs as laid out in the order confirmation.  In these circumstances the flowers will be made as close to the order confirmation as possible with no redress or liability on Suzanne Randell Floral Design.

Depending on the type of order eg. wedding or funeral flowers, the details must be finalised and confirmed at least 4 weeks prior to the event. It is at our discretion that we can accommodate any changes after this time period, and this may incur extra costs.


Hire Items

We no longer hire out wedding props, unless jam jars are preferred, we are happy to supply but these will be billed into the quotation/final invoice, and can be taken home after the wedding by the bride/groom or guests.

Flower Variations AND PRICING

Due to seasonal variations, some flowers and foliage may have to be substituted.  If this situation occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible to advise and to seek approval of a substitution. Whilst we make every endeavour to obtain all specific flower items, we cannot be held responsible if the products you have ordered are not available at the time of your event, for example, due to bad weather conditions.


Due to fluctations and unpredictable flower prices in recent times, after the first consultation we provide an estimate for your event. Approximately 5 weeks prior to your event, after the final consultation, we will confirm with a written quotation the final details and up-to-date costings.


Delivery

The total price will include delivery of flowers on the day to a maximum of two addresses and is subject to a minimum order value of £200.  An additional delivery address will be at our discretion and may be subject to an extra delivery charge.  Whilst we endeavour to make all deliveries within sufficient time before the event (flowers normally delivered 4-5 hours before event) we cannot be held responsible for any unexpected events that may occur which are beyond our control.  We will endeavour to make alternative arrangements should this happen.


Cancellations

In the circumstance that the event is cancelled by the client, and costs have been incurred we reserve the right to charge for those costs.  In the event of a cancellation by yourselves, charges are as follows:  More than ninety days prior to the date = booking fee only.  Ninety days to one calendar month prior to the date = booking fee plus half the remaining cost.  Less than one calendar month prior to the date = full amount.  Any payments previously made are not refundable.  In the event of postponement, the payment due remains the same as cancellation.  Subject to availability we will carry the monies paid forward to the new wedding date.  Any further postponements will be classed as a cancellation. Regarding postponements due to Covid-19, please see below.


COVID-19

If the event is postponed due to Government advice, a lockdown, or the bride and groom are unwell with Covid-19 then we will accommodate any new date change if possible. If the florist supplying the flowers is unwell due to Covid-19 then the wedding flowers will be created by the floristry team, and we can organise collection or delivery whichever is most convenient for the client in light of any Covid-19 rearrangements.


Consultations

We will provide a no-obligation free initial consultation and once booked with a deposit, an extra consultation to either the venue/church or flower market will be offered (if required and deemed necessary) - when finalising the flower order we will provide a phone call/email or Zoom consultation free of charge - any further face to face meetings requested by the client above and beyond this will be charged at £25 per hour with this amount added to the final balance.  

 By paying the non-refundable booking fee, the client is accepting all the above terms and conditions.
